Warranty Note

A warranty note for South African wall art, setting out cover, exclusions, surface limits and care requirements.

How Warranty Note applies on completed jobs

Warranty Note sets out the cover that applies to Wall Art Designs wall art. It explains exclusions, surface limitations and the care conditions that support a valid warranty.

Check the fitted surface first, because the Warranty Note depends on where the wall art was installed and how that area performs over time. Fresh paint, damp plaster, textured coatings, direct sun, and steam from kitchens or bathrooms can all limit cover. For South African sites, conditions near the coast and high summer heat indoors should be recorded when the job is handed over.

Keep clear photos from completion day with one wide view and a few close shots of edges, joins, and any corners. The Warranty Note is easier to apply when the installed finish, date of fitment, and care guidance are stored with the order record. Early signs such as lifting, bubbling, fading, or surface scuffing should be logged before cleaning or touch-ups are attempted.

Cover on completed installations

This note explains what is covered after Wall Art Designs has fitted the wall art and what falls outside normal warranty support. It helps teams record the print type, fitted area, visible condition at handover, and any care instructions given to the client. A proper record matters more than a vague description once the site is in daily use.

Use the Warranty Note alongside project images and any care instructions supplied at handover. Before lodging an issue through the contact form, check whether the area has moisture, peeling paint, rough skim, impact damage, or cleaning marks, as these can affect cover. Include photos that show the full panel as well as the affected section.

  • Edges, joins, and corners checked
  • Care details kept with job records

Surface limits in South Africa

Claims are easier to assess when the fitted area, handover date and installer photos are logged properly. Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town sites often differ in humidity, direct sun and wall preparation, so the note should record where the work was installed. Separate new defects from wear, cleaning damage or later building work when you submit warranty details.

Heat against glazing, extractor fan moisture, and strong afternoon sun can change how wall art ages in use. Cleaning also matters, especially where staff wipe walls with strong chemicals or abrasive cloths. The Warranty Note should be read with those everyday conditions in mind, not only the look of the installation on day one.

Records to keep with claims

Use the Warranty Note to share fitted area photos, completion timing, care details, and any early issues such as lifting, fading or surface marks. Keep the subject line clear.

File the Warranty Note with completion photos, fitment date, room location, and the care guidance issued for that surface. If a problem appears later, add current photos and a short description of where the issue started and whether it is spreading. That creates a usable history for the specific wall art installation.
